Infinite Dungeon Above Level 50 (SPOILERS)

Would someone give me a brief summary of what happens above character level 50 in the ID?

Specific questions:
1) Do characters receive extra category points?
2) How is stat leveling above 60 handled?
3) No extra Prodigies, right? (it would be fun to be able to use some of the less high-powered ones like Swift Hands)
4) How often are talent level caps raised? I know they go to at least 10, as I've gained artifacts in the Sludgenest that grant Silence +10 talent level.
5) Can I plan for towns and shops?
6) Are Class/Generic points added in the same way as 1-49?
7) I'm playing Vanilla for my first trip to ID 500, so no add-ons please, no matter how good they look (and I've been looking!) :)

Vain Pursuit was made for the ID, as his name suggests. A bug rendered him permanently un-updated, but he can be viewed here:

He's already capable of taking down level 200s (slimes at least) in small groups, but you can see that I've been saving a Category point. It would help me tremendously in deciding how to spend it if I had a little bare-bones info. I plan on trying to set a depth record for overpowered, vanilla builds not utilizing bugs or gimmicky abuses (looking at you, mindstar Oozemancer exploiters  )

Sorry to burst your bubble, but adventurers are inherently overpowered and not well balanced :)
As for proceeding into the Infinite Dungeon from the main campaign, you won't be able to level past 50, so there will be no more stats/talent points/prodigies. A level 50 character will start in I.D. at dungeon level 75, and you can expect progress to slow to a crawl by about level 100. Characters that start in the Infinite Campaign can level up past 50, but receive reduced points per level past 50.

I know you don't want to use addons, but I don't think you'll be happy with vanilla I.D. My I500 addon (http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=35016) was made for just this purpose. It lets you level up beyond 50, provides normal benefits per level, including an extra category point every 30 levels starting at level 66. The talent level cap goes up by 1 every 10 levels, and stat limits are character level + 10. It also provides for some shops (mostly at low levels, for starting characters) that can spawn rarely at high levels. Normally there is little use for gold in the I.D. but I made the Lost City of Vulcus addon (http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=39387) partially to give players in the I.D. access to advanced shops. These addons have to be installed before zoning into the I.D. to work.

Thanks! Indeed I won't be happy with that result. Yes, adventurers are not "balanced" but the mere fact that you're building your own class would be the only reason for taking pride in the first place. It's no great feat to simply use what you're given as class talents, but to make something that can clear the entire sludgenest with vanilla melee talents is a feat ;)

Guess I'll use the I500 if I do it. Reading that topic partially inspired these questions anyway.
