ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hello, doing some cleaning i noticed that my ...\T-Engine\4.0\tome\charballs\ had a lot of files in there.
What is their use ?
Can i delete them all when i'm done with a character without losing any unlock/achievements ?

Additionally in my te4.org page i noticed this for each of the characters i kept in my vault :

You can delete them yes.

As for the ones on the site, they are the dump of a character, the real game object. Someday I'll use them to import stuff and do lots of magnificent things with them! Until them they help to use space on the server drive
