You could use a sword/dagger combo but it's probably not so smart as you'll require both weapon mastery & dagegr mastery talents.
A "popular weird build" is the mindstar rogue, learn the mindstar mastery, pump psiblades and destroy things

I think so, but I haven't done it myself. If you don't intend to do stealth or traps, the Marauder class is pretty much what you're describing.deathknight1728 wrote:1-Do rogues have to use daggers or can they use a short sword or what not. Assuming you're using a precompiled binary download and not SVN source code, you should have a file named tome-1.0.4.team in the game/modules/ subdirectory. This is a PK-ZIP archive (it just has a funny extension). Any tool that can extract PK-ZIP archives can extract the files from this, though you may have to rename it to something.zip first. All the .ogg files are inside there.Nacht wrote:Is there a way to acquire the background music of a dungeon, say, Heart of the Gloom's into a file form so I can listen without booting up ToME?
Thanks, tooling around my folders wasn't productive, but the knowledge I can just 7zip open some of the odd file extensions helps a lot. Just found it.greycat wrote:Assuming you're using a precompiled binary download and not SVN source code, you should have a file named tome-1.0.4.team in the game/modules/ subdirectory. By my understanding, all the music in the game is from Celestial Aeon Project anyway, and you can aso find there stuff online. (Along with a lot of there stuff that's *NOT* in the game.) This appears to be the homepage, however the link to the jamendo page with the album downloads (This one) from the homepage appears to be non-functional. A bit of looking around might find them somewhere though. Not sure which tracks are or are not on ToME (Other then "Dreams of Flight", which is my favorite ToME track from the fortress), but the music is worth checking out.Nacht wrote:Thanks, tooling around my folders wasn't productive, but the knowledge I can just 7zip open some of the odd file extensions helps a lot.
