Hey hi!

Mindrot & path of the sun "combo" is not working.
The game does not consider "instant acts" as a real act.
F.e. activating webs of fate also does not trigger mindrot damage.

While you are in your path of the sun, the code makes your movements
instant speed, so your movements in the path also does not trigger mindrot damage.

Ok, this is really strange... the topic says, I am the author but that is not true.

There was a user "Dajawn" , and he/she posted a build idea about abusing
Mindrot (from Gloom) with Path of the Sun (from Sun tree).
I just replied to the post, but somehow the author's posts are disappeared ...

Likely their continued rude attitude caught up to them and they were banned.

Didn't want to start a new thread, so will put this here.

It won't work with instant actions, but you can still abuse it with any speed boost. Movement infusions and Lightning Speed are natural candidates.

You can take Raze to effectively double your damage output for a while (up to 25 procs/turn). Getting Elemental Fury will really ramp Raze through the roof.

Taking Madness seems like a fantastic idea, since you're doing lots of tiny mind-damage instances.

I also found Calamity to be nice, since you can build up max stacks on enemies and yourself effectively instantly.

Mental Tyranny as a prodigy seems useful.

Any other synergies that people have found?
