My Adventurer & "Surprise" Equilibrium costs on some Talents

I decided to make an adventurer, but didn't think too hard about it. I wanted someone with lots of "add to weapon damage" talents. So...
I took Celestial/Combat for Weapon of Light.
I took Spell/Enhancement for Fiery Hands and Shock Hands.
I took Corruption/Infernal Combat for Demon Blade. (Also, this tree gives Flame Leash which is nice to make people fight up close.)
And then I thought it would be cool to have some of those wyrmic abilities, so...
I took Wild-Gift/Fire Drake Aspect.
I didn't love the Fire Drake Aspect addition because it meant that I'd need to worry about raising Willpower (in addition to Strength, Constitution, and Magic), but that wasn't so bad, I thought. But then I discovered something strange and unfortunate. The Infernal Combat abilities were costing me equilibrium. I didn't mind having a little equilibrium cost on the Fire Drake Aspect talents, but I didn't realize that I'd have to pay for the Infernal Combat ones too, since no equilibrium cost was listed. And they cost a LOT! Flame Leash costs 25, while Demon Blade costs 100! (To compare, the Fire Drake Aspect talents costs 5, 8, 6, or 12 equilibrium.) And that's in addition to the Infernal Combat talents using stamina and vim. Wow.
I feel like my character is taking a very different direction because of that surprise: I use the Infernal Combat stuff a lot less (only if absolutely needed) whereas I expected to use it a lot (and maybe not use the Fire Drake Aspect stuff as much). And I also picked up Wild-gift/Mucus to help with restoring equilibrium.
Are there other surprise costs that aren't listed?
