The best Tank/Mage adventurer build???

Hi, I'd like suggestions with any adventurer build that is both a Tank (AKA a meat shield, Someone who is VERY durable) And is a mage (AKA one who focuses on spellz. I find melee combat uninteressting) Please. I shall select the best one which i shall use. THANKYOU!

Vanilla archmage? Vanilla Sun Paladin with a focus on the Sun and Radiance trees? The way people actually play Reavers?
Combine your favorite shields (Time Shield, Bone Shield, Disruption Shield, Barrier, etc) from the above and your favorite spellz as well, and have fun. Reavers can make melee attacks off spellcasts, so maybe that'll sweeten melee combat for you.
