Is Blighted Summoning viable for Summoners in 1.5?

Now that summons begin with Max Vim and PES means that you can have reasonably potent Magic scores, is Blighted Summoning viable?

A lot of the talents it gives aren't very good. Also PES was badly nerfed. On the other hand, Through the Crowd got a tremendous buff and is now a great choice for summoners.

I don't see why not.
PES might not be horrible on summoner, since you can summon a ton of stuff while it's up and then back up and retreat while it's cooling down.
