1.6.7 Skel Technomage

Cats: 10 inscription another Shatter
20: Storm
34: Meta for Dispersion. Get before master.
Bile: I took Chemistry but it felt unneeded. Dont really need injectors. Maybe take another really good shield rune.

Prodigies: 25 Technomancer
42 Ethereal Form

How I leveled

Progression: T1: Trollmire>Kor Pul>Scint caves> Rhaloren Camp> Norgos lair> HOTG

T2: Sandworm Lair (free stats when you eat the heart)>Maze>Old Forest>Daikara> Urkis Quest>Dredfell >Reknor> Vor Armory and then Briaghs Lair and go back West and do back up Guardians

SWL(you get cat point here with worm bile>scint>old forest>maze>kor pul>trollmire>deadfell>daikara>reknor

If you still need gear after going back east do the spider cave. Lots of good drops here. I did it before vor armory this game so i could hit 42.

You want manathrust at 3 asap so its a beam, your damage up to level 20 will be Mantrhust, Chain lightning and lightning. This REALLY takes off around level 30 once you max Tempest .Get Hurricane to 3/5 asap.Once you have Tempest 5/5 and Hurricane and Lightning Storm 3/5 you can work on your Occult Tree.

3/5 Metaphasic Spin and then max Reality breach after. My damage was insane because i had Elemental Fury ring and Galens Robes by Reknor. Elemental Fury is a game changer.

I have Timeshield set to autouse when enemies are visible. you can set this by right clicking on the skill.your fights are pretty much gonna beTimeshield>Shield rune if lots of guys around> Aegis(save your skel racial shield for emergency) and then

Chain lightning>Shock/Lightning late game(use shock to proc hurricane mid game,dont need to use it much later)>Reality Breach> Metaphysic echoes if anything lives>manathrust repeat.

you can use nova anytime you are surrounded to daze all baddies and hopefully proc a few hurricanes.

If you are silenced you can use you Skel racials to mitigate some damage, dont forget using the Skel heal gives you a shield as well. Always carry a mindclear torque that will clear silence for you until you have 100% silence resist.

Had to create an account just for this.

Gotta be the one of the most fun builds i played.

Played this on insane and it felt TOO EASY (!!) so i switched to madness
Gotta say the early was a kick in the balls but got lucky and found the ring. It really is a game changer.
If ill get that steampunk robe then ill just curb-stomp everything in my way i think.

Right now going east @ lvl50 and it feels like cheating.. this is too OP in terms of raw dps.

I thinks ill change a few things make it more survivable for madness but its definitely there.

also, why not shalore? timeless + Reality Breach seems like a winner no?

How did you unlock just Physics without using a cat-point in order to take the Techomancy prodigy?

Taking the prodigy does not require a category point. It gives you physics unlocked and chemistry locked upon taking the prodigy.

Ah, I'd confused the requirements for unlocking the prodigy with the requirements for taking the prodigy. :oops:

so this prodigy breaks the shertul fortress, since the tech chest doesn't produce energy

this is particularly annoying with skel since it means cloak swapping the entire game if you don't get that fixed first

you can switch to the transmog chest by using it from your inventory. Once you have all the tinkers you want, you can just switch permanently for the rest of the game.

Just won Insane/RL with this build, with some minor changes for personal preference. Very fun and strong build. I killed Atamathon and then died toward the end of the Linaniil fight. Here's my character: https://te4.org/characters/137285/tome/ ... 7bc10d6fbe

The damage conversion of Elemental Fury seems to trigger "on spell hit" procs more often, which presumably helps with the dazing from Tempest as well as spell procs from items. You want a mana coil tinker on your mainhand staff, but it's actually possible to put a second mana coil on Telos Bottom Half if you find it, and I did see both lightning procs triggering on the same spell sometimes. I got good mileage from items like Black Robe, Duathedlen Heart, Black Ring, and so on. Since you always do some cold damage with Elemental Fury, I was also using Frost Lord's Chain to freeze enemies pretty frequently.
