ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

It took a winner, a near winner and getting halfway through the east on nightmare but i just noticed that necro pets seem to inherit stats like summoner ones, despite not saying so.

But i'm having trouble telling what stats and by how much, as they vary per cast and dark empathy obviously changes it too.

Would someone who knows under the hood please be willing to clarify the specifics so i can gear more intelligently for my minions? So far i just know to pay more attention to misc +damage outside of darkness - arcane, physical, fire.

They get your damage bonuses and a level based on your level. They gain a portion of your resistances, saves, and status immunities if you have Dark Empathy. I've heard it'll also give them your Magic score if you've got Blighted Summoning in the next version. Don't think they get anything else.

That Blighted Summoning change is particularly interesting if true - right now it's very hard to justify the advanced minions at all, let alone the prodigy. Their spellpower is too low to land their debuffs or nuke effectively other than to kill each other with AoE and their raw combat inferior to the skeletons'. Especially now that i know i can stack +physical by using a 'Star' staff! Oh the fun i shall have with armoured skeleton warriors and master archers...
