UPDATE: 1.6 has nerfed expose weakness into the ground, there is now zero reason to play rogue. Go play like bulwark or something instead.

I feel that it should be mentioned that rogues are not very sturdy.

Same happened to doomed, stone warden, temporal warden etc but on the other hand there are some small tweaks (for example racial talents) that make game more enjoyable. Overall gap between good and bad classes increased, not decreased.

1.6 made a lot of good balancing changes and removing expose weakness' old effect was a very good balancing change. It was completely ridiculous, an absurd scaling violation and deserved to be tossed in the trash forever, which is has been. However, it was basically the only strong talent that rogue had and so now it does nothing at all. It's like removing unstoppable from berserker: it completely guts the class because it essentially has nothing else going for it. Rogue is still winnable on insane but like that's not a very high bar at all. Other classes were nerfed from 1.5 to 1.6, but the only drop in power comparable to Rogue's plummet from grace is Archmage's huge disruption shield nerf, which was also a very good and very needed change.

I don't mean this to imply that "Rogue needs some love". Rogue needs one of two things: removal, or a complete and radical retheming until they're actually distinguishable from the other melee classes in any way besides being worse and more complicated. Rogue will not get any of those things, but that's what they need.

plus the current power-vs-save change makes poison much harder to apply, another cut to something supposed to be a rogue feature lol.
