Did shadowstrike USED to work with mind and spell powers? Just discovered this and, man, is my rogue bulldozing through the early game with...the eel-skin armor of all things. Kinda makes me want to see how viable I can get a charm-focused rogue to work out. Though it DOES seem maybe a little....thematically weird that shadowstrike would work with item powers but not sling attacks.

EDIT: Hrm, except that it doesn't seem to apply to powers granted by tools. Only by wielded weapons and worn armor?

It didn't because pre-infiniscaling stealth was independent of range. You use staff blast -> your stealth goes on cooldown. I tried to create staff shadowblade once back in those days - it was pitiful as hell. And now many consider it a sane build.
