Infinite Alchemy
Adds an alchemy table to the Infinite Dungeon, that appears with roughly a 50% chance at each floor. Here you are allowed to brew potions (similar to those achievable from the alchemical brotherhood) and transmute items into artifacts (rewards and costs are somewhat similar to the quest-mechant from Last Hope, though there is a price-scale). Depending on what you pay for, transmuted items keep their item tier (option: lesser) get a bonus of one (option: greater) or two (option: superior) item tiers. When transmuting tier 5 (option: greater) or tier 4 and higher (option: superior) items, these become extraordinarily powerful.

I didn't put in any effort so far to bringing any addons to steam, as they can all be installed via the built-in addon-manager. Pardon me for being desinformed, but are there any advantages (besides visibility for exclusive steamplayers that don't bother with the built-in addon manager) if I upload them to the steam community directly?

Does the manager have an auto-update function? If it does, I need a link to that so I can get that for all my addons. If it doesn't auto-update, the Steam Workshop does.

Oh, I just was refering to the menu-option: Addons, which got a link to open up all addons on te4.org. Auto-Update certainly then would be a unique steam advantage I didn't think about so far. Auto-updating itself could also be a disadvantage, if you update to a version with bad compatibility to previous versions. Is there a way to have different profiles on one steam-account? I'd like to hide my friends & family groups if I were posting addons on steam.

On one Steam account? I do not believe so.
However, since Steam itself is free, it'd be a simple matter to make a second account with which to upload everything and just never buy games on it. (Then again, considering I got $150 worth of games for $8 today, not like buyng extra games would be that hard.)

Wow, thanks for the fast answer.
Yeah, buying a humble bundle for 1$ is a cheap way to setup a steam-account with a couple games. I will make a new steamaccount for uploading my addons then, but after christmas, as I am short on time at the moment.

No need to rush. Thank you for making this addon in the first place-making an extra account just for other players' convenience is going above and beyond the call of duty. (Which you already went beyond by making an addon, but I'm pretty sure this launches you into orbit.)

Yeah, addon making in itself is the source of joy, so enough of nice words

Fun, but it's probably too eay to get multiple potions; maybe add an ever increasing gold cost to it too ?

Sounds like a decent use for some of the infinite gold in the infinite dungeon.

Very true. Gold would be an easy solution.
