I toyed around in my head with an idea of a utility Rogue char and tried to come up with something fun.

So I got into thinking a some kind of Rogue char with utility stuff might be fun to play.
Trapping, Poisons, Stealth, Field Control, maybe the tumble and stuff from Skirmisher.
He could also have access to Equilibrium talents. Some form of summoning tree could be created, bloodhounds and stuff like that, maybe eagle or something for scouting. Earth 's Eyes tree for scouting and whatnot, you get the drill.

For weapons he could possibly use Bows or daggers. Nothing too fancy in terms of attacking skills since I was thinking it a more utilitary class than full on demolisher of everything.

What do you think of the general idea? Is there an add-on with similar class already in existence?

Honestly, this actually sounds like something you could do with an Adventurer build. Since all the trees already exist, maybe give it a test run doing that? Worst comes to worst, you could enable cheat mode to get a few extra categories if you feel you needed it.

And, best off, if it is a bunch of fun and you think it deserves its own class, it'll be real easy to code. Just borrow existing talents and mash them together into a new class.

Red, I know I can do it on advent. The idea was not to entirely borrow existing trees while it may sound like that from the post but actually create a few new ones and stuff. The thing I posted above was just a rough generalization of the class in terms that everyone will grasp.

HousePet, Quit your day job and start working on that then. :P
