[1.3.1] Custom Auto-use functionality. (Including Items!)

Hi guys,

Do you ever try to enable auto use when visible for a talent with a short range? Lets say you want to auto-use Mind Sear or Rush but currently your only options are use when enemy is visible or and visible and adjacent. Picking auto-use when visible is annoying because you will have to cancel the auto-use until the enemy is in range. This addon appends additional options to the bind talent auto-use category including auto-use when in range and auto-use when within two tiles.

Feature:
  • Auto-use when within talents range/radius
    Auto-use when within two tiles
    Keybinding (under Miscellaneous) to toggle auto-use on and off completely
    Ability to customize the order in which talents are used (in the case where more than one would be triggered in one turn)
    Keybinding (under Miscellaneous) to toggle auto-use custom ordering on and off
    Ability to set auto-use options on items :!:

Please report any bugs here. I have not had extensive time to test the auto-use functionality on items and had to make some assumptions while coding it.

This looks very very interesting.

How about:

auto-use when health below XX%
auto-use if enemy visible and player not stealthed
auto-use for item abilities

Haven't tried it yet, but I am wondering if you can set the auto-use range. Such as a command that says "Auto use when enemy is visible and within X blocks" then it opens a window where you put in the X value.

Not exactly auto-use... Can you make it possible to assign several actions on same key, so first in list not on cooldown is used?

Cool ideas guys.

Auto-use ordering (I have no idea how to add a new window for this, but i do know how to get the data for it) was a long term goal.

I really like these ideas and will look into how to do these:
auto-use if enemy visible and player not stealth (never thought of this. have not played rogue in a while)
auto-use for item abilities (definitely want this to work. Will need to look into why its not currently working)
auto-use when health below XX% (I don't know how to add an option for selecting a number)
Auto use when enemy is visible and within X blocks (I don't know how to add an option for selecting a number)

Some additional things I planned on looking into:
auto target furthest enemy (may be useful for beams) (also possibly auto target most enemies?)
auto use when resting (may speed up resting by healing up more quickly)
possibly stoping auto-use and warning the user if health drops below a certain amount
possibly stopping auto-use and warning player if boss/elite shows up
possibly warn player if health drops more than XX% in one turn

These things could really help speed up gameplay and help get users to the more interesting battles.

Keep the ideas coming! I will try to work on them over the weekend.

Also - auto-use when certain resource (health, mana, light etc) is below/above certain amount (100% or 90% or current).

Try this. All of the obvious bugs are out of it, but I haven't tested it in depth.

You can always beg DG or a developer for help on how to make windows and the like.

I want auto-use on items also! The only reason it dosent "work" is because when you right-click an item on hotbar it auto-removes it from the bar

Hey nuku. Not on steam yet. I cant get Mac version of TOME to work with steam I will fix it over the weekend to work over steam.

Hey guys,

Just updated the addon to include customized ordering of auto-use talents. There is now a talent ordering window that can be opened through a keybiding (Under Miscellaneous Keybindings).

WARNING!
if you set an ability that has a usage speed of 0 to the end of the list it will not be triggered if a talent lower on the list is also triggered that turn.

There is also the ability to toggle the custom auto-use talent ordering ON/OFF (Under Miscellaneous Keybindings).

Next I am going to try to get trigger if HP/Mana/whatever is lower than %XX we will see how that goes.

Don't worry..I'm sure someone will come up with an addon to auto-use auto-explore if you give them time!
