lawyer class

My ideas:
Book offhand similar to mindstar, so dual wielding class off sword/mace/axe mainhand and book.
Judgements similar to poisons. With attack like poison strike.
Thoughts?

Sounds very boring and would make no sense in tome but those are just my thoughts on the idea.

I'd have to agree with Hellcommander on this, it doesn't really seem too special, and fairly out of place.
Could make it into some form of Religious Zealot who believes he has the right to punish the unworthy, perhaps.
Using Judgements to, say, penalize your opponents depending on just how far they are from your views, such at removing stats, or even full talents.

That's a pretty good idea. I know what I had alone wasn't worth making a class, but I thought that with some unique mechanics it would be a nice addition.

Could do some interesting things with that, such as skills whose effect depends on the difference between your stats and theirs and the like.

We did have some fun in chat times ago considering talents for 'silly'classes. If people want to make a silly/humor centered addon, nothing wrong with it
Two talent ideas for Lawyers, based on 'alternate interpretations' of legal terms:
Double Jeopardy: When you suffer a timed effect or damage type, gain temporary resistance to that for X turns.
Habes Corpus: Disrupts invisibility, stealth, ethereal foes have their physical resist lowered.
(yes, this is more of a Judge thing but still....)

Don't forget, there MUST be a talent that raises a speech balloon over your character that says "OBJECTION!!!". (Much like santascape boss and it's "Spank" speech balloon.
