Double sided weapons are weapons held with both hands, doing 100% str damage and having some dex requirement, with the ability to perform an extra offhand each attack.

These weapons are considered two-handed weapons and also can be used with skills that requires and offhand weapon.

The chance to perform an offhand attack is 20%, but can be increased with proper training.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

This addon adds:

New category: Dual combat training
Tlvl1: Double Weapons Mastery: similar to other weapon masteries.
Tlvl2: Ambidexterity: increases offhand damage. Doesn't stack with similar talents, so the better is always used. This affects daggers too.
Tlvl3: Opportune strike: Increaes the chance to perform and offhand attack when using a double-sided weapon.
Tlvl4: Slice and dice: Run through a target while doing damage, can be chained to run through a lot of targets.

This talent can be obtained at last-hope weapon stores by paying 750 gold.

Dual sided weapons: Can be found randomly like other weapons, from tier 1 to tier 5.
Dual sided artifacts: I added some artifacts too!
Merchant modified: You can craft these weapons by paying the normal amount at the lost merchant.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

All feedback is welcomed! I'm not sure if the numbers are OP or too weak.
Any ideas for artifacts are welcomed too! I'm not very creative creating artifacts.
Also, to anyone with better skills to create graphics feel free to create graphics for this!

I hope everyone like this!

Great idea!

I just checked the talent after buying it in last hope. One problem I see is, you buy the talent tree with 1.0 instead of 1.3. That means, you dont get that much P.power and weapon damage increase as other weapons.

I havent tested the damage output yet. Event with maxed talents you get 63% of an 50% damage attack. In average it means you get 32% damage increase in comparison to 1h damage. I dont know if this is sufficient.

Cheers.

New version uploaded!

Minor performance fixes.
Dual combat training mastery will be equal to player combat training mastery, capped at 1.3.

Fixed the mastery problem. Now the mastery will be equal to combat training mastery, but not bigger than 1.3.

Well, two-handed weapons now deals 20% extra str damage. So a 32% sounds good.
Also, consider this extra attack will apply any on hit effects, so this damage should be a bit higher when more items with this property are equipped.

Not on the Adventurer skill list. :(
Goodbye dreams of Dual-Double-sided Weapon Wielding, you shall have to wait for me to get 750 gold.

Upon getting said gold, I did enjoy them.
Greatly.

Im not shure the bonus damage from the mastery is working. I switched from a normal 2h to an artifact 2blade and my damage fell from 170 per hit to 70.

cheers.

Hey,

Are there any new artifacts planned for the weapons? Currently there are 5 or 6 artifacts, so its not much compared to other weapon classes.
This fact alone makes choosing the double-sided weapons a tough choice...

Cheers :)
