ToMe Launcher

#1 Post by Manikd »

I have made a Tome launcher to make Tome portable for Windows "Vista and above"

To set up copy your saved game folder "T-Engine" from your user profile %Userprofile% to the location were the game exe is.

After that extract the launcher "Tome.exe" from the file below, to were the game exe is located.

Now launch Tome.exe and it will "MOVE" your saved game folder from the game DIR to were it needs to be "%Userprofile%. It will then wait 8 seconds to make sure all files are moved then it will launch the game for you.

ON exit it will move the saved game folder back to the Game dir.

In doing this you can run the game form a USB drive or from a dropbox folder on your computer. and will always have you saved games.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

If you already have a T-Enigne folder in your profile when you launch the launcher it will move the saved game folder from the game DIR and put it inside the T-Engine folder that is already on your profile. In doing this it wont overwrite anything that might have been saved already.

EDIT:
Added traytips letting you know that the files are being moved to the play DIR and then when you close the game a traytip letting you know that files are being moved back to the game dir.

Nice stuff! Not something I need myself, but I know others will love this :)
