ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

This little addon finally gives you a real reward ( for all characters ) for allying with the Assassin Lord, the new skill Summon Thugs: It lets you summon 2 thugs to fight for you. They want to get paid though, so better have the gold ready.

Includes a new talent graphic and slightly edited Shockbolt tile for the thugs.

Install it by extracting the zip to the *ToME*/game/addons folder. It then should be game/addons/tome-summon-thugs/init.lua.

The talent icon cracks me up. Dying to try this and other addons out. I love tiny addons like this that add so much to the game.

This icon is my favorite of the dozen or so I made yet.

The thugs are probably in dire need of balancing, so feel free to post your experience at different levels.

Shortly after responding, I noticed that this is an elegant alternative to saving the merchant - either choice provides a use for money.

Yeah its actually a good idea if its balanced...might try this later tonight.
