This was the same run where I lost my Ring of the Dead extra life to a weird bug? with Unstoppable and Killing Frenzy wearing off at the same time. (I got a suggestion that maybe it was actually Bloodbath wearing off that killed me. Can anyone confirm/deny that is how it works?) You can learn more about that here: http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?p=217813#p217813
This run had some incredibly scary moments in the end game:
1) In Slime Tunnels, one of the uniques was 10k life and fearscaped me. I tried to disperse it off, but failed the first time, and briefly went negative while juggling unstoppable, heroism and stone wall because I was constantly taking fire damage after it ended.
2) The ENTIRE ENDING FIGHT. Holy shit. This is easily the most intense thing I've done in a roguelike, beating the final floor of Sil. I figured out pretty quickly that Argoniel is the one to kill first, since Elandar Phase Doors all over the place and if you leave her to her own devices she gets out of the way most of the time. The problem is when you're getting double teamed. This fight was a nightmare of managing cooldowns, trying to land good Unstoppables (sometimes having no minions around to heal up), juggling regeneration and movement and stone walls, hanging on to torques of resistance for dear life, praying for good warshouts, etc. I nearly died many times.
Notable moments was when I went from ~1000 current health to ~100 by taking two spells in one turn, and the turns just before I killed Argoniel - I was extremely low on life and practically everything was on cooldown. With heroism popped, stone wall unavailable and regenerations unavailable, I was on ??? health for several turns straight, completely awestruck that I lived until I could pop regeneration... and then popped unstoppable, levelling from 46 to 50 and getting a full heal as I killed Argoniel. Elandar alone was trivial after that extremely tense moment. I was shivering the entire fight!
Anyway, GG. I guess I'll look at Embers of Rage next.

Ring of the Dead also didn't work for me in some recent run, possible bug.

If you have the information required to report a bug, you should do so as its own topic in the Bugs forum.Dopaminka wrote:Ring of the Dead also didn't work for me in some recent run, possible bug.
