ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Finally, after many hours and even more dead summoners, I have my first YAVP. I don't know if Temporal Wardens are overpowered class, late game is so easy on normal or it is my experience in ADOM and other roguelikes, but after Master I was basically immortal.

Overpowered or not, TW is a incredibly fun and satisfying class to play. Nearly absolute field control, master of magic, ranged AND melee combat, sh*tton of shields... that gal was omnipotent, or at least, that's how I felt playing. Sadly, I haven't seen neither Dogroth Caldera nor Sludgenest.

I was there to prove it. Congratulations again.

Incidentally, I was playing an NM Temporal Warden at the time. It was my first attempt at the class after the revamp and I gotta say it's almost too powerful to be fun to play.


If you like that kind of gameplay you might enjoy Corruptor as well. They're quite a bit different but something tells me you might like them.
