Joe Chip the temporal warden has killed the sorcerers. I have been trying to beat roguelike for months, so I should be celebrating, but my first thought upon winning was "Does this even count? TWs are ridiculous."

Because they are. Warden's Call + Weapon Manifold = explosions and status effects everywhere, and all I had to do was shoot or bump. I did have some good drops: Robe of the Archmage and Twilight's Edge dropped fairly early, Icy Kill came along and made things even better, and I found a warden's elven-wood longbow of power in Point Zero, which has better TW stats than Epoch's Curve now. Still, TWs have great abilities that cover for all their weaknesses, and the only mob that gave me a challenge past early game was an eternal bone giant stair guardian that was also a TW. I don't really know how to do postgame, and I only got Atamathon down to 55% before he splattered me. I deserved that, because after 4 orc prides and 10 levels of high peak hitting z11 z11 z11 (shoot bound to 1), I wasn't exactly on my game.

So I want to feel cool for winning, but when I think back to all the mistakes I made and how incredibly forgiving TW was of those mistakes, I don't really feel like I've earned it.

Congrats!

I wouldn't get too caught up in worrying about whether a class is too easy. Winning is always an accomplishment, especially on Roguelike, even though some builds are more difficult than others. You can always try again on higher difficulty if you want more challenge.
