Pretty standard build, grabbed Guardian at level 10 and Radiance at 32. This guy was so ridiculously tanky. Between Retribution (50% resistance to EVERYTHING until it explodes), the healing from Shield of Light, and the protection of having a shield, I was rarely even in danger. Never triggered Second Life, and I had the Ring of Dead as a backup if necessary. Late in the game I wasn't even using melee very much, between Irresistible Sun and Judgement, I was a one-man fireworks show. It all came together with Dawn's Blade, found on High Peak level 6, teaming up with the Unsetting Sun shield.
Illumination is REALLY nice, it meant that I didn't have to worry about stealthy enemies or high defense. Searing Sight never seemed like it was worth much investment. Sun's Vengeance was really key at the end, given all the multi-hit abilities and high crit rate; it regularly was giving me free Sun Rays, which would themselves tend to crit for multiple hundreds of damage.
It's no surprise that Luminous and Radiant Horrors were the main problem, and I usually just avoided them. Other than that, nothing was troublesome. Even the 4 Slime Tunnel bosses all fell within 3 rounds or so.
Atamathon next.
