YAVP! Thalore Sun Paladin - Normal Adventure [1.2.5]

EDIT: Meant Thalore, not Shalore. WTF, me.
I'll sing the praises of Cursed on lower difficulties, but conceptually, Sun Paladins are my favorite class. Was pleased that I finally got a win with 'em. 2Hander Sun Paladins are the in-thing from what I understand, but I have a better understanding of sword-and-boarder Sun Paladins. Or... So I thought, at least.

Let me run down some things...
[*] Oh my god Thalore leveling is painful. I've never played Thalore before and it's soooooo slowwwww
[*] 1/4/1/1 on Shield Offense is STILL a powerful and viable investment that can take you through to the end.
[*] Sun Ray sucks, but dumping points in it early is alright for getting through the first dungeon. I kind of forgot to take those points out, but it's alright; Sun Ray was still kind of useful taking out fleeing enemies when Path of the Sun was on cooldown. Though Irresistible Sun will do that job for you just fine later on.
[*] Died once because I clicked one too many times into a vault, and got murdered in two turns by a pack of L60 Venom dragons.
[*] Maxing out Shield of Light and Weapon of Light means your bump attacks become real stupid. Not as good as a Cursed by far, but man do these two do work together.
[*] I'm a huge fan of Chant of Fortitude on a Thalore. Helps boosts Saves to make that route semi-viable and gives enough HP to delay leveling Vitality until Magic and Strength were maxed out.
[*] Why can't I hold all these barriers and heals
[*] Seriously, there's so many omg
[*] Did Irresistible Sun really get nerfed? I took it first before I Can Carry the World! and it's still kind of monstrous.
[*] This is the first time I've done that whole underwater quest. After an accidental Retribution trigger, I was forced to kill the Naga dude before I could talk to him. Then, hungry for exp, I kind of killed the Dragon who sent me. The boss right after him was shockingly easy for something that caused an entire race so much grief.
[*] Went the Saves route for dealing with statuses. I had like... 10% Confusion Resistance and 40% Stun Resistance going into the final battle, I think. My Saves were something like 70+ vs. Phys, 60+ vs. Spells, 60+ vs. Mental. That's actually pretty low from what I understand, but that plus Providence and Relentless Pursuit seemed to be enough to deal with statuses all the way to the end. I want to point out that eking out that much saves was only possible because I went Thalore; it'd probably be way easier as a Dwarf, but I'm not fond of playing Dorfs.
