That stands for Shalore Time Warden Appreciation Week. I'm just picking Tome back up after a long college semester, and I wanted to honor the memory of the character that hooked me on this game: Arsdar, the Shalore Time Warden.

This was my first character to even meet the Master, and he then proceeded to beat the Orc Ambush, save Melinda, beat the game, and finally kill Atamathon. I even failed to unlock Paradox Mages because I handily pummeled my future self!

I followed the lovely guide written here http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=36419 by Parcae2, and found the class to be among the most interesting and fun in the game. Things which I really enjoyed: the power of Celerity, in allowing early usage of flurry and later usage of staves for damage spikes (I did the obnoxious thing and pulled the points out of flurry around Dreadfell). I think Dimensional Step is the best spell in the game, and it is single-handedly responsible for most of the feats of this character, as well as its survival through any of the early game. Maxed scatter shot, 2 points in volley of arrows, maxed bow mastery, and spacetime folding means a traditionally weak class can clear rooms pretty easily, and dimensional step means you can be hilariously bold for a squishy class--although the playstyle is more reminiscent of Khaled Hosseini's bestseller.

The lategame was where it got funny though, because the synergy on this class-race combination is downright disturbing. Dexterity ends up high because of the need for bow mastery, so the Shalore speed buff was very strong. Once you're into staffwarden mode, with maxed out magic, add Haste, Invigorate, Temporal Reprieve, and of course TIMELESS (dun dun dun), and all buffs last forever, and all skills have no cooldown, and you move so fast they should ticket you when you finish the volcano quest, but they can't because of your multiple fantastic blink spells. With the Telugoroth Form and Draconic Will prodigies, as well as a good shielding rune, Arsdar was invincible for the whole second half of the game. Presumably the buffs would have worn off eventually, but no enemies survived 2X Temporal Wake + Echoes from the Past. Any stragglers hiding in corners were finished by a lightning bow and Void Quiver (which is hilarious at ridiculous levels of global speed).

In short, my first Time Warden basically earned me everything I have in Tome: my pride is tied to this hilariously mobile and excellently fun class. I'd like everyone to take a moment, breathe deeply, and follow these instructions: imagine a crazed elf moving so fast his body is a blur firing arrows at the frequency of concert A, and blinking in and out of rooms, only appearing long enough for orcs to say "huh where'd my underwear go." Now go play one! Shalore and Time Warden BFF's FOR LIFE!

I can relate to this. My third ever winner was also a Warden using the same guide you used.

It was great after experiencing the dread of playing a Yeek summoner. I already disliked Yeeks as a race and simply wanted some unlocks, but not only did it eventually become a slugfest that was "slower than molasses in winter", where all I did was summon until i couldn't summon anymore, I never knew at the time that Yeek players were destined for a horrible fate in the end, resulting in no continuation.

Playing a class that zipped around blasting everything felt refreshing. Kind of wonder if any of their graphics got changed with the new steam release.
