Was thinking this might have not been my first but seeing this Inge gained the Arena achievement I'm pretty sure it might be.

Not exactly my first, but my first reasonably successful, since I've cleaned out a lot. Filbert the Halfling Fighter, from pre-Bulwark era.

Looks like it's the only one left from my "nuts" period (using names like Cashew and Peanut...)

It's kind of crazy how much the game has changed since then. I almost forgot that the Packing tree even existed! Wands still had charges. Archers and slingers were still separate. Weapon masteries were still ten ranks, etc.

Back from 1.0.0. This one was relatively succesful for a first char, as I managed to escape from the dwarves' starting dungeon. Good times.

Half a dozen of my first chars were shaloren archers, dying in crystal dungeon. Until I realized that a)I start on exit and b)archers blow.
Then I made dwarf bulwark, and it worked fine and was one-shotted when entered Celia room.

Oldest I have on the list. Brought low by a bug fighting the last stair guardian on High Peak. My first was I think a dwarf bulwark on some ancient version were the tileset was still a hodge-podge of free stuff from all over the internet. Only it wasn't a bulwark back then, but a fighter...

I turned off online shortly after starting, though, until I learned about the vault. I think they got to L10 or so before splatting?

It's funny how different ABs are now. Then again, that's a lot my fault, I think.
