How to beat TOME in four simple steps

After losing my latest character, the way forward at last became clear to me: I could have won anytime I liked, by simply following the four easy steps below:
-Select folder.
-Delete.
-Confirm.
-Empty recycle bin.
WINNER!!! You have destroyed Maj'Eyal and the Eastern Continent, along with all the enemies they contained.
ACHIEVEMENT: "A Strange Game; The Only Winning Move Is Not To Play"
You find: Your evenings.
Your life.
That sock that disappeared last week. (It is part of a set of items.)
Accepted quest: "Clean Your Apartment"
Accepted quest: "Get Caught Up on Errands"
Accepted quest: "Finish Your Creative Projects"
Accepted quest: "Socialize!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In all seriousness, it's been fun and I'm very grateful to have been able to play such an amazing game. Problem is, I have a hard time quitting once I start, and that takes too much time away from the other things I need and want to be doing. I'd determined that regardless of outcome, this last character was going to be it for me. It was (for me) a good run, though my character died fighting the much-stronger-than-anticipated Grand Corruptor at level 31, and didn't even make it to the East.
Maybe it's better this way -- to end on a personal high note, but without coming so close to the end as to be left thinking the outcome would have been any different "next time."
