This was my first char to see the East, and he actually conquered it (5 deaths after Dreadfell, none after)..
I choose a cornac summoner for two reasons:
- My previous summoners were somewhat successful
- Cornac gains 20% more XP than the other races (more accurately the other races gain ~20% less XP than cornac), this meant I could be level 25 around Dreadfell instead of 20.

This meant I had a category point straight from the beginning, and I did not know what to do with it. (And for the first 10 levels, I actually didn't know what to do with my generic points). I initially did not want to go AM, because teleport is so great. My strategy was therefore to wait for an escort to give me a good tree, hopefully an alchemist so that I could imbue gems everywhere.

But before level 10, I found a torque of psychoportation, which could replace my teleport rune and make me go antimagic. I then decided to go AM, using my category point to unlock ASAP all four trees (Antimagic/Fungus/Summoning advanced and augmentation). The rest was a straightforward AM run.
I picked 1 point every level in Con/Cun/Wil, which is probably more Con-oriented than other summoner runs.
(Also it turns out, as the summoner guide indicates, that you really don't need teleportation when going summoner)

Like the recent Yeek winner (http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=37161), I had meditation always on. Not really for the equilibrium gain, but mainly because with Earth Eyes level 5 it gives you Telepathy:all which is huge.

Equipement:
The Great Caller is so great, especially the +2 in max summons
Tree of Life + Guidance gave me a boost in AM and Call of the Wild
My two rings gave me 50% stun/freeze immunity with the remaining 25% coming from my light armor
I kept my tier 3 crown of command (+10 Wil/+3 Con) all the game, because +10 Wil...

Earlier on, the rest of my equipment was focused on +life, but by the end I went with saves (and used most of my escorts for saves)

Infusions: Only one wild infusion (physical/magical), I supposed that meditation + Unbreakable will prodigy + Relentless pursuit will make me pratically immune to mental effects, I was a bit wrong but did not die because of it.
I wanted an Healing infusion for desperate times, and I used it a lot. In the last fight, I also had to use my Heart of Poosh (-30 eq, regen 50% of your life if less than 50%).

Most of my (5) deaths were stupid. One in the second dungeon (!) could have been avoided, and two by Poludanne the elder vampire with impending doom in Dreadfell. I was NOT prepared for this AT ALL.

Now it's time to upgrade to 1.0.1 and to try all I have unlocked.
