So I've always been meaning to play through with a shalore temporal warden. As I suspected, things come together amazingly well by the end. Using a combination of timeless and invigorate, you can walk around with 200% global speed, 150% movement speed, a shield, 15 turn regen and 70% resists, and more that I can't properly remember. The character is a bit of a glass cannon though, which makes it all the more exciting. All the powers that you have to balance leads to a very fun and tactical end game.
What changes that though is a synergy coming out of somewhere that I couldn't figure out. Someone online told me it was from arcane might. Essentially, my temporal damage spells (i.e. stop and temporal wake) at some point starting hitting enemies with mana thrust. And then eventually mana thrust x10 and more. By the end of the game, temporal wake and stop were doing about 5000 damage each. I cleaned up the final bosses with just a few attacks.
Atamathon was especially funny. I softened him up and then I hit him with my two spells, which killed him outright but also killed me with reflection damage. At that point I was all out of lives so the blood of life brought me back and I had defeated the golem.
Whatever was causing the manathrusts definitely needs to be fixed, but this character was still a lot of fun to play. It was fun rolling over everything at the end, but still the character was vulnerable enough that I had some close calls. Can anyone explain exactly where the manathrusts were coming from?
