[b43] Xykon the Lich Necromancer (winner)

This roguelike winner apparently didn't get in the character vault, so I'll leave it here. I once tried a necromancer in a previous beta, which ended not in death but in annoyance with how awkward it felt when dealing with random weak enemies. With Lichform now unlocking Star Fury, the playstyle was much smoother. Minions were more of an afterthought, and I played this character as a blaster who ended up being surprisingly tanky, thanks in the early game to Blurred Mortality giving him more hp than a bulwark, and lategame to Vampiric Touch. I had my doubts on Vampiric Touch's ability to substitute for Skeleton/Ghoul healing racials, or infusions, but by endgame it faithfully healed me for about 700 life every other turn, which was more than enough to deal with incoming damage, and Blurred Mortality + Shielding runes were enough for those big bursts of damage from stuff like, say, Solipsist rares. Nothing really troubled Xykon, but he did almost die once to a teleport trap in Vor Armory.
Talents that ended up being sort of useless to level in retrospect were Impending Doom, which scaled poorly due to being the wrong damage type and not critting, and surprisingly, Forgery of Haze, which sounded amazing but my forgeries seemed to prioritize casting my 1/5 Chill of the Tomb and Cold Flames, or the aforementioned Impending Doom. Also, I think it was responsible for a pretty serious bug that resulted in me not being able to do anything without being flooded by Lua errors, forcing me to use cheatmode to get myself out of there, which may be the reason why he didn't show up in the vault.
The only complaint I have about this class is the lack of places to put generics. Celestial/Light from an escort is pretty much a requirement, not only because of how good it is, but also because Necromancers desperately need a generic sink.
