ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I had an anorithil earlier, who died at high peak. So when I died a totally stupid death at high peak, I was thinking: "Not again, I'm so close!". When I finally made it to the end I felt so relieved.

Early game fight will Bill was scary, only barely surviving. After that things started rolling my way.
Managed to save all escorts in this game. I picked up stone alchemy and celestial trees early. Got so much money from the gems that managed to buy 2 uniques when the option became available.
First time died at the crypt on the way to rescue Melinda. Starting position was just too hard...
After getting essence of speed (just before the master) game became really easy. Only trouble I had was with mana clash. In short, everything just burned to ashes, even flames.
Also managed to do some quests I couldn't do before, like unlocking corrupter and doomed classes. Lost knowlegde quest was only one that failed. In retrospect, maybe one point in arcane eye would serve well...
In final battle managed to save the paladin lass as well, even though I couldn't my spells freely because of friendly fire.

First of all, congrats! I'm trying to play an archmage, and was trying to look at your character, and I'm confused as to how you managed 100% stun resistance. I don't see that much stun resistance on your equipment (not sure I found ANY), and none of your talents give it as far as I can tell. What's going on?

Check the "Pearl of Life and Death" in the inventory.

It's dropped by one of the final bosses and can't be obtained before that.
