Hey guys, I'm new here so please bare with me. I'm probably missing something obvious.

whatamidoing is a level 25 shalore TW with 51 defence, which was my first run through.

Zippy is a level 21 halfling TW with 32 defence , having a near-identical build to whatamidoing. Zippy however has more Dex and more +defence from items than whatamidoing.

Am I missing something here? :?

One thing that comes to mind is that whatamidoing is dead, and so probably was in a fight at the time, which means her Spin Fate would likely have been going. Zippy, on the other hand, has just been wandering around doing not much in particular.

In fact, if we check the actual difference, we have tier-2 going from 32 to 40 for a "real" +16 and tier-3 going from 40 to 51 for (approximately) a "real" +33, which is a total "real" +49. That's not far from the max bonus on Spin Fate. I'm not sure why the Spin Fate bonus isn't showing up as a current effect for whatamidoing; it may be that she's dead, or that those screens don't show timed effects like Spin Fate or stunning.

EDIT: Additionally, whatamidoing has Crooked Club and Moon for the +7 Dual Weapon Defense bonus, while Zippy has a longbow and thus does not qualify.

Zippy's total defense bonus from equipment is +31 to whatamidoing's +23, making his relative equipment defense bonus +8; his relative defense bonus from dexterity is...0.3*dex, isn't it? So (49-33=16)*0.3=3+1.8=4.8~=5.

Zippy has a relative +13, whatamidoing has a relative 55+7=+62. 62-13=49, exactly the difference in defense scores before tier effects.

The current effects listed online is just sustains, not temporary stuff like stuns.
