Yay finally! :D

Fletch IV

Blood of life came into play in last battle and had a ring of the dead as a backup just in case!
It appears I have a pretty weird bug now...definitely wasn't like this before though

Well done! I'm a bit surprised you chose Wintertide over Malediction, but what do I know... I'm just another loser. ;-)

Thanks :D haha I've always loved wintertide for the freezing and resistances. Ever since I made my early trips down to the greater mummy lord in the older betas to try and get it early on...probably died 100 times down there lol

Also being my first time in the far east...I think it should be made clearer what to do at the part where you have to run down the long lava tunnel to stop those people. I was just fighting with the paladins for a good 150 turns before i realised what was going on lol

haha must have missed it :(

also while youre here...if you go back to the last boss fight again after youve finished the game, it replays the dialogue and enemies start coming through the portals. Had to do this because it's the only way to get back to the Maj'Eyal if the GOM have been destroyed...at least i think it is haha

I was confused the first time in the not-Mount-Doom dungeon, too. I thought I was supposed to go north, but apparently I'm supposed to go south. Of course, the second time in, I knew what to do....

Same here. This morning was my first time in there. I did go in the right direction, but I made the mistake of fighting off the monsters in stead of just keep on running. Oh well, I did make it out alive and at least the reward doesnt seem to be a requirement for winning. Grats Fletch!

I'm sorry but - what makes you think you are supposed to go north? I never made such an assumption - I'm just curious.

Enemies are north. Lava is south. Lava generally equals a horrible flaming death. Apparently not in this case

Was at a point where i could basically hold down a key and destroy things without being too worried...so i wasn't paying much attention

My first instinct was to help them punch a hole in the line of orcs so I could run through it. Which was surprisingly easy, and then... oh.

I did the same thing too, fighting the orcs rather than heading for the lava. Part of my problem was, before teleporting into that level, I accidentally hit the Sun Paladin standing outside the portal with a moonlight beam (or whatever it's called) and spent a lot of time trying to evade this now-hostile and apparently unkillable foe. Tried exiting to the worldmap and returning only to find him still chasing after me malevolently, causing me to just just phase door and run around until I found the portal.

Amidst all that mess, I guessed I missed the instructions, and time ran out on me with the end of the lava only several squares away. Really pissed me off, especially considering how easy a time my anorithil was having through the whole encounter. For events like that, is there any way to make the instruction more difficult to miss--like those new achievement windows that you have to hit 'esc' to get out of? Meh, maybe I'm just being a baby.
