ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I will be the first to admit that I am programming illiterate, and this infuriates me.
Therefore i will be learning some LUA.
I am here to beg feebly for tips, tricks, and general knowledge.
First on my list is a new birth option, the mutant. Once there is a firm grasp on that, the mutant birth set, then a full class of indeterminate flavor.
much more important than the mutant and future class though is My End goal. To release a sort of 'mad libs'-esque little download that will allow program-curious to just fill in a few blanks and whip up their own classes, species, groups, and whatnot without falling blindly into the out-of-date wiki.
I thank everyone for their help, most of all Catwhowalksbyhimself and Goblinz, who unwittingly gave me a proto-template with MoRE. I also apologize if by doing this i have violated the sanctity of their work. No disrespect is meant at all.

For tome 4:

Birth description is rather easy to make.Slightly harder is coding the skills unless you can copy paste it from somewhere else. Playing different classes will help you learn some of these skills and talents. Try to find them in the directory structure.

One side-note: How will the mutant fit into the current game lore?

For new classes and races:
/game/modules/tome/data/birth/

For new talents:
/game/modules/tome/data/talents

For new race talents:
/game/modules/tome/data/talents/misc/races.lua

One more quick tip: Your post is very general, I was not sure what you are asking for (or are you just announcing something?). If you want specific answers then be more specific about them .

For t-engine modules: I have no idea .

Are you making something for tome or for t-engine? either may it just looks like you want to add birth descriptors. this you will find is the easy part. making the talents are the tricky/fun part. Either way I (an I am sure others) are willing to help you with little problems. The more specif the problem is the better the problem will be fixed.
