ToME / T-Engine is crashing Firefox on this site.

I frequently have ToME minimized while I'm posting on this forum. Very frequently, when I try to do this, Firefox will crash unexpectedly.
It never crashes at any other time -- only if I have ToME minimized while using it. It's possible, of course, that this is a bug in Firefox (or one of its plugins) and not ToME, but I thought I should report it anyway, since it definitely only happens when ToME is running and minimized.
Running XP 64, ToME b34, Firefox 8.0, with ToME minimized. Frequently happens while writing a post.

Can you try launching firefox with the --safe-mode parameter, or from the "Firefox (Safe Mode)" shortcut in the start menu, which will temporarily disable all add-ons, and see if it still happens? Of course this is only feasible if it's happening pretty consistently... I'm kinda assuming you're on Windows since you didn't say, but if not then the Linux and Mac command line parameter is the same as far as I know
Also, (assuming Windows again), are you running any programs or utilities which do anything with your system's memory management (anything pertaining to RAM, pagefile or swap file, 'speedup' or 'booster' programs, that sort of thing?)
Edit: gah, you did say, oops! Reading comprehension fail
Edit2: Huh.
http://firefox.com/ = "download 7.0.1 here!",
http://firefox.com/channel/ = "download 9.0 here!"... I guess 8 is lost in limbo

I'm sticking with v3.6.23 for the moment, I don't have the patience for this silliness they're messing about with right now. Also, yarrr get off my lawn.

Firefox 9.0 is still in beta (I'm on the beta programme...)
Stick with 7 or 8 they are fine. 8 is the latest and greatest...

One thing that wasn't mentioned is the Video Card and Video Driver version, there are a lot of Firefox problems with the latest Official Nvidia Drivers Ver 285.62, my suggestion is to install the latest Beta Drivers Ver. 290.53.
