[b18] Halflings can't be Corruptors/Reavers?

I don't get the Corruptor option on the character generation menu as a halfling. I'm not sure whether this is intentional and not explained, or a bug.

It's intended but it's kinda a Tolkienism. I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be a representation of Hobbits being hard to corrupt.

Well I don't think Maj'El halflings are supposed to be less 'corruptable' than anyone else, thus...remove the restriction?
I think racial class restrictions should be avoided except in extreme cases - like Undead Anorithils/Sun paladin.

The undead restriction on Anorithils / Sun Paladins is strange in practice because they can learn positive/negative energy talents via escort quests.
The halfling restriction on the Corruptor classes is strange because they can be Afflicted classes just fine.

They are resistant to corruptions, not curses. Big difference. Afflicted classes have badmojo heaped on them against their will, and then try to do what they can to stay sane and functional while turning the tools of their oppression against their oppressors. Corrupted classes welcome in corrupted forces and make deals with the devil for power. *Totally* different sorts of people.

I think even under a Tolkien setting restricting halflings form corruption is wrong. Look at Smeagol, after all...

But the flavor of Doomed is that they engaged in dark magic willingly until it consumed them.
