ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The wiki says that I need to use a Yeti Mind Controller to unlock the race, but I've finished the campaign twice and played a few more characters without finding it (or the schematic). Anyone know how to get ahold of one of these things?

I got it several times on the first boss... You could spam kill him and that steam giant boss with new characters, perhaps? Otherwise, I'm not sure, unless you believe in ritualistic dancing for the RNG God.

It's pretty random. You either get it on the first boss or you probably won't get it.
