Temporal Rift for TWs

Could someone explain to me how Temporal Wardens access the Temporal Rift (with the twins and the quasi-lumberjack) in Daikara? My most recent TW fought and was killed by its alternate PM self, and when I'd try to enter the rift, it said another Warden would have to fix it.

As far as I understand it, your temporal wardens can't ever enter the rift.
You were the one that made it, so I guess somebody else needs to deal with it.

I've definitely seen TWs with the Rune of the Rift in the vault, although admittedly those may well have been vaulted. Also, it doesn't make sense to me that the artifact would be kept away from one of two classes that can innately and significantly benefit from the rune's paradox reduction.

It's killable? Mine sent me to fight Epoch and one-shotted me soon after for about 60000 temporal damage or something.

Yeah, it's killable. You fight Epoch then you basically have so many turns to kill it before it kills you.
I don't think you can get both the Rune of the Rift on a TW and the PM unlock on the same run though. Not unless the PM unlock was changed at some point.

So I'd be able to get the rune if I were able to kill my double faster then? Damn, I was really excited to get the rune on my ogre. Any advice or tips for being able to take my PM double down faster on a TW?
Also speaking of ogres, does their tier 2 racial describe any inscription that says 'scales with [Str/Dex/Con/Mag/Wil/Cun], and if so, would this include the Rune of the Rift??

The Evil Future You can also cast the instakill ability on a Temporal Hound instead of you, leaving you free to do whatever.
