So let me get this straight: If I'm using gestues for melee, then the psibales mastery is completely useless for my character (at least the mindstar mastery -part of it)?

There's a nice little info on mindstars and gestures. Don't make me give you a short answer on that since I didn't understand that thing explained there fully myself.
