Fearscape question

ok, so I'm level 48 now with my first ever character: http://te4.org/characters/63484/tome/a5 ... 02d54b7cf8

Just beat the 4 Orc Prides without problems, got into the slime tunnels and suddenly this guy: Ianoni the Crusher

Pretty tough, but I manage to wear him down with my bombs, teleporting away when it gets too dangerous. But then he suddenly teleports me into the fearscape.... I had nowhere to go, no healing, no golem, no shield, nothing. I died. And even with all the skills available I doubt I would survive long against him there.

Is there any way to prevent the teleport from happening? Any stat that makes it less likely or something like that? Teleport immunity maybe?

If not I'll try to beat him from as far away as possible, throwing a bomb and then running away until the bomb is ready again.

Various skills that disrupt Sustains will disrupt Fearscape once it has been used, and it has a very long cooldown.

The Crusher(His given name is randomized) is one of the most dangerous enemies in the game right now. Your best bet to dealing with him is to stay at a range higher than 7, so he can't tag you with Fearscape to start with, or hoping that the randomization doesn't give him Fearscape.

If all else fails, just leave him alone. You don't actually have to kill him to complete the game; Just place the other Orbs and move on to High Peak.

ok thanks. I'll stay out of range and try to beat him one more time and leave him alone if I fail again.

If you're in control of your Golem and you golem-rush him, will he Fearscape your Golem?

If yes, what happens if your Golem dies in the Fearscape?

I asked this once in chat, no-one seemed to know. Typically, fearscape is player only, and summons won't come with you. Not sure if golems get treated same way. Would the enemy fearscape your alchemist, instead of your golem? Not use fearscape? Fearscape fizzle? Golem die in fearscape and game bug?

Fearscape can be used by the player on any target (some are immune), but NPC's can only use it on the main player character (no pets or summons). So an effective way to defend yourself from this talent is to keep the NPC from targeting your main character.
