ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi all,

I've been loving the game. Very glad that I donated, as it has proven well worth the money. I'm just having one frustration, and hopefully, someone can help.

Oozemancer is the last class I have to unlock, and I want it! After failing to cheat my way into it by adding it to the file (it wouldn't take for some reason), I gave up and went the legit route. I've made a Thaloren reaver who passed level 30 in the east. By level 37, I had headed back west to look for the Sludgenest, since my impression was that it's there 100% of the time for Thaloren.

I've looked all over the frozen north (this is where people on channels said to go), but damned if I can find anything. I'm wondering if something could be wrong, and if so, how I might fix it.

Sludgenest location :

See the green tree beside my character ? It's the location of Sludgenest.
You'll see "Way into a strange lush forest" text when you're nearing that area.

Are you sure you're playing version 1.03+? It should say on the title screen.
