ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I finished off the Master and got ambushed by orcs. OK, supposed to happen. The orcs may have killed me but I didn't go to "space" and talk to that white angel lady. Anyway, now what do I do? I have alchemist quests, a Shur Tul quest to go into that farportal thing, and a quest about the staff, which I think the orcs took.

I think I am now supposed to "go east" but how??

Go to the house in the middle of Last Hope. That should set you on your path, with a minimum of spoilers.

Next time, try and survive that fight with the orcs. It's doable, but difficult (And FUN!).

If you do try to win vs the orcs, focus the horde first, and the boss last. Killing the boss with a large horde still around is risky (death would lead to actual death in that case).
