A couple of quick questions about the topic:

- who do I have to betray to get this

- how can I give myself the category using the lua console in cheat mode (I want to try out a mindstar-wielding wyrmic with the new wyrmic addon, but apparently they're a real hassle to get going..)

You need to betray an alchemist to get mindstar mastery.

Well, I guess the best thing to do is to start wyrmics over and over until I successfully nail an alchemist in either of the starting areas. Sigh.

Maybe, at some point, mindstar mastery could be acquired at Zigur for some cash/quest?

I think this would be an excellent idea, it would save a lot of tedium if you want to play a mindstar based character.
