As far as I can tell, level 24 is the first level where you can max Lichform. So is it a good idea to do so?

As far as I can tell, there are two camps on this issue: 1. people who think of Lichform as an extra, not-quite-so-versatile Blood of Life; 2. people who actually use Lichform as intended. Can people with experience weigh in on the matter?

Well, if you're planning on going Lich at some point, there's really no reason not to go Lich as soon as you can. I'm personally a big Lich fan, but if I were you I'd make sure I have some sort of heal (Higher Racial, Healing Light, etc.)
