Is there a way to see progress towards the wildfire achievement? I've just trying to figure out if I'm close enough to get it with fire weapons, or if I should start another Archmage...

I might be crazy, but I don't see the wildfire achievement in the menu... I looked through all the achievements a few times and didn't see anything. Probably doesn't help that I don't know what the achievement is called.

It's called "Pyromancer". The equivalent achievement for Ice is "Cryomancer", and the Reaver achievement is called Reaver.

You may need to switch to looking at all achievements rather than the ones you have achieved.

Thankyou! I finally found it. So many achievements to look through. It'd be nice if they could be sorted out by gamemode/difficulty. I for one will never try for insane difficulty achievements, so if I could filter those out..

Anywho, only at 180k... I got a ways to go I suppose... Guess I'll have to start another yeek archmage. If only the arcane blade class was better I'd go them and spec for the fire tree.

If I remember right, alchemist and wyrmic are decent choices for inflicting a lot of fire damage.

Any advice on how to inflict a lot of ICE damage?

Alchemist and Wyrmic are again, both options. You could also try Necromancer, if you happen to have that class unlocked.

Archmages are also decent at cold damage, especially with the recent Glacial Vapors change.

Alchemist I believe are the fastest. Fully pumped range on bombs, you can hit for great damage on more than a dozen targets. Once I met the orcs I was doing thousands of ice damage per turn regularly

This is an old thread, but I didnt want to just add a new one. I want to see how close I am to wildfire. Above it says look for pyromancer in achievements. I take that to be the 'view' screen with achievements. That the person says switch to 'all achievements' and not just the ones I have earned. How do I do that?

Open the menu with escape, select view achievements, click the box farthest to the right; it should look like this:



Scroll down (waaay down) to the Ps and mouse over Pyromancer. It'll show your current progress as XXX/1000000.

How I did it: I wore ring of elemental fury (the artifact) as an archmage and used tri-beam (flame, lightning, aether beam) to handle most fights.
