ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hello.

Going for the prides for the first time.
I took out the new bosses in the West and I assume this is the right path to take.

Is there a particular order one should do this in, or is it just to head on and crash into the first one in sight?

How on earth can I take out this?

This is the order I usually do it in:

Vor
Gorbat
Rak'Shor
Grushnak

Be prepared to handle several high level orcs in small rooms.

Carefully.

Kill the summoners 1st, then the wrymics, followed by the swarm of drakes. Archers shouldn't have much of a hard time beating the prides.

It takes them a turn to notice you, so you can immediately hit a teleport rune or movement infusion and it's like you were never there.

Honestly, the wilder pride might be the least scary. In the others you have to deal with super magic nuking (bad), battle call (horrible), or extra-critty minion fun time (give up now).

I'm just not very good at this game.

If you check my screen shot you see the dragon babies on the other side of the door.
But I do not telepathy orcs.
How bad is it on the other side of the door?
Is it possible to teleport in there are start the pride from there, or is the next room as bad as this one?

Movement infusions doesnt work with skeletons.

The area behind that door is very large, and the enemy density there is much lower than in the entrance. So yeah, whenever I play a class that can't kill these guards fast, I just teleport away, and then come back once the rest of the level is clear.

Just a warning, though...

For the pride up in the Northwest of the map (Grushnak?), you're gonna have to fight through rooms similar to this with tougher enemies and no real teleport options, so you probably want to prepare for that or they're just gonna murder you.
