ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I've just been getting used to working with Norgan, and usually get him through.
However, sometimes he wanders off, in chase of a target I can't see, and just now he died with an orc arrow in his gizzard.
Does he really matter?

Not in current game.

Btw you can *always* order him with ctrl-tab. Dunno if that is a bug, but I use it to call him from FAAAR away.

If you keep him alive and escape, you get an Achievement, and slightly different exit text. Apart from that, he doesn't matter.

I would be fun for him to reappear later in the game.. if he survives the initial escort. Perhaps berzerkering in during the infamous ambush! Not that he will decimate the orcs... but could be fun!

only escorts are that suicidal. But it would be interesting to meet him later in the game
