What is "magic"

Achievement for unlocking corruptor says it requires a "magic user."
Zigur wants me to renounce magic.

Do these refer to alchemist/archmage and the use of mana? What about equilibrium/paradox/psi classes? Don't want to ruin a runthrough, but more toys is always cool.

Zigur wants you to not use any ability that uses Mana,Vim,positive negative and paradox. Also you can not use runes or any items powered by arcane forces (this is on the item description). As a general rule for talents is if it is based of magic it is a "spell".

a "magic user" for the anti anti magic quest is anyone with 10 points in spell talents

Magic includes all talents that use the Magic stat.
That include mana spells, corruptions, positive/negative energies, paradox

Corruptor thing is 10 'spells', which is, iirc, any talent that uses mana, vim, positive or negative energy, or paradox, as a resource. Equilibrium, psi, hate, and stamina are in the clear.

Renouncing magic means not being able to use any talent that uses that stuff as a resource (not that any class that starts with any of them can actually see zigur...) and being able to wear or use arcane powered items, including runes and stuff like the best-light(s)-in-the-game.
