New feature in Tome4: play hide and seek!!!

My berserker just entered the old halfling ruins, with stairs behind a small building. Moving a few steps forward revealed a skeleton master archer...
Now if my character makes another step forward, the master archer moves one step backwards and hides behind the building. As soon as my character gets in LOS, he starts shooting, pinning and slowing like mad. After escaping with low health, my character retreats behind the building and heals... and the master archer doesn't follow him.
Now if I try to go around the building, the master archer starts to follow my character. If I go the other way, he goes the other way too... basically, I can't make him come into melee range. I guess I'll have to wait until I get Rush...

Nice to see the new AI at work...

I am assuming that is what is happening!

I'd bet not. This sounds like the tactical AI at work. Just hope DG didn't decide to give them disengage too ;)

They're archers, if their level is high enough, they'll have disengage...

Skeleton master archers do not currently have disengage, regardless of level.

We need more tactical AI in my opinion. I was sad to watch a worm that walks chase after my mage while my flame was cooling down rather then using a ranged attack or bone grab.
