Briagh tougher?

Is he more badass as of the most recent version, or was I just unlucky or unskillful with my use of abilities?

My level 46 berserker got blinded by a sand breath of his, and I ended up getting smacked to death by him and some worm buddies. I guess I need to make sure I have 100% blindness resist next time I encounter him. The other times I met him, he was another complete pushover.

The new and nasty worms are in part to blame for sure--those gravity worms and those damn acid-exploding worms can sure whittle away at the HP.

My first character to find that Greatmaul of Uberness, RIP :( Oh well, time to reroll.

I'm not sure rather I should be laughing or feeling guilty.

Glad the encounter isn't a push over anymore though, was my intent when I wrote the new sandworm types.

edge! You evil, evil person  Well done on those new worm-types. Yeah, they're somewhat nasty, but they add good variety. I could see the lair with its multitude of worms being extremely tough for rogues and the like. Maybe that's not entirely fair since I don't trust Stealth worth a damn, as it never seems to work terribly well. I'll admit I've never played a rogue up to a high level though.

Well, I'm better forewarned now.

I also went into Briagh's expecting the usual one-sided slaughter and, uh oh, this is tough... However stair-cheesing makes everything easy.
DG make the stairway disappear when you enter Briagh's and we'll see the fun there.

And nice job with the worms btw.
