I keep finding and carting this stuff around.
When I drink it, I get a Yuck!
Does it do anything worthwhile?
Thanks

I was curious too, so I checked the files...there's a very small(1%) chance of unlocking a 'slimy' talent tree apparently

Thanks Zonk - my review of my search missed this important fact
Glad I won't get tipsy drinking it lol!

Yeh, with one character I got the talent tree available. He yuckily died a few moments afterwards, so I couldn't give it a try.
Very funny though.

One thing I would like to see implemented is a chance (maybe 3-5%?) of unlocking the tree with SMJ as well after you have acquired the tree (or make it unlock automatically on acquisition). Even Bree-men have better things to do with category points than put them in Slime aspect, but some of the abilities are nice enough that a few class points would be worthwhile....

I favor slightly increasing the chance (maybe 3%-5%) of unlocking the tree when quaffing SMJ. As it is now, SMJ is useless once you've unlocked it. What about getting the chance to get the category point and class points for it by quaffing more SMJs?
Alternatively, what about the chance of getting the tree/points increasing with the more SMJs you drink? Something like 1-10 is 1%, 10-20 is 3%, etc etc.

I'm playing a dwarf wyrmic, focused in the cold tree. Icy skin is awesome.
After quaffing lots of slime juices I finally got the slime talent tree and I was wondering how could work the slime damage-on-hit with addition of the icy skin damage-on-hit. Do you guys think it's worth the investment?
By the way, when I got the skills I checked my talents and I had 2 generic talent points, but I don't know if I got them from the juice or I had them stacked from my last level up.
Do you get additional generic's when you get the slime tree?

I like doing the dual acid/icy skin
and no, it does not give generic points, you probably had them from before.

It unlocks the Slime Talents, which enable Equilibrium, but no way to reduce it? At least I didn't find a way to reduce Equilibrium with my Slimy Berserker Dwarf...
PS: Too bad you didn't get to wear symbionts as in Tome2...

last time I posted about this, darkgod said he had an idea about equilibrium reducing randarts? Has this changed?

There's an ego hat type that restores (reduces) EQ when you're hit. "of the Wilder" I think it's called.

Doesn't equilibrium clear when you level?
Also, you can get an equilibrium-restorer if you qualify for antimagic. It's a bit of a weird one, but it works.

Yes, it drops to 0 on level up and it also drops by 10 per step in the wilderness.
